Meet Nest. The helper in your building.
Every team could use someone who takes care of the groundwork. Nest is the small server on your network that boots new computers, prepares installations and delivers software locally.
Download the Nest ISO from the Console, boot your server and confirm the installation disk. Nest then enrolls, prepares its services and keeps itself maintained. The Console shows you what is ready and when to step in.

Software delivered locally
Nest prepares and caches software on your network, so computers share local downloads instead of fetching the same files over your internet connection.

On the same wired network, Nest supplies boot information alongside your existing DHCP server. Review computers and disks before installation starts.

Nest maintains its services and reports their health. Verified local files stay available where possible; new deployments and approvals need a connection to Tiaris.

Is moving to Linux disruptive for our users?
It doesn't have to be. Pilot one group and confirm it works before expanding. If needed, roll back. IT stays in control at every step.
Where is Tiaris hosted?
The Tiaris management service is hosted in the Netherlands. We manage the hosting and maintenance, with device configurations and audit trails available in the Console.
What does Nest add?
Nest handles network installation and local software preparation and delivery. The guided network-installation flow uses Nest. Computers that are already installed can also be adopted without reinstalling.
Which computers can we deploy?
Tiaris manages NixOS desktops. The network installer supports x86-64 UEFI computers connected by Ethernet, with workstation Secure Boot disabled. The Nest appliance installer uses Secure Boot enabled.
What happens if Nest goes offline?
Computers keep running their installed setup. Local installs and software delivery wait for Nest to return. The Console shows the issue and recognises Nest when it reconnects.
Can people use their existing work accounts?
Yes. Tiaris supports Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace sign-in sources. Connect your provider in Settings, then use a Policy to choose how people sign in to managed desktops.
We used Cybex. What changes?
Only the name and the look. Cybex is now Tiaris and James is now Nest. Your Blueprints, Policies, App Lists and computers carry on exactly as before.
